Super fun hanging place for young and old. At the moment there is a lot of to go available at Vos Food toilet available, playground and as far as I could see parking spaces. We walked the orange route from Castricum station, over 13 km. Wonderful walking area! Camping Geversduin is located right next to it. View all feedback.
What Alexander Hof doesn't like about Eetcafe Vos Food:
Bad experience three weekends in a row. The young staff, especially the guys in the snack bar, manage to literally make a mess of everything. You always get something different than ordered, it is undercooked or it is incomplete. If you order ten ice creams, they have to throw away five because they are the wrong ones. If you ask to eat here, they will pack it anyway. The children behind the counter are not yet able... View all feedback.
Great place with children, but it is way too expensive for what you get. Children's burger made from fried frikandel meat and large burger are fine, but not great for the price.
Goed eten, absoluut, alleen jammer van het te jonge personeel en gebrek aan leidinggevende in de avond. Wij hebben 1,5 uur op ons eten zitten wachten omdat het niet doorgegeven was blijkbaar, opmerking hierover werd schaapachtig weggelachen, enorm ergerlijk! Wij waren van plan hier elke avond van ons verblijf te eten maar het is bij deze ene keer gebleven.

Wonderful to have a warm drink by the fire pit after a walk!
The owner really tasted a croquette with his hands because a girl didn't like it. But he was okay with it. And threw it away, she had to pay for a new frikandel. What bad service.
