I recently stayed at this restaurant with a group of friends, and Helen and the rest of the staff welcomed us warmly. They gave us plenty of recommendations for nearby attractions. We dined here both nights and the food was absolutely amazing, especially the burgers and bangers and mash! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves delicious food, good drinks, friendly chats with locals, and overall great vibes. I can't wait to come back again!
Stayed in Castlemaine with a group of friends over the weekend and was blown away by the service and kindness of the staff in Knightleys. Both owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their gorgeous little village. Despite the current affairs, our weekend has been a huge success. I would highly recommend this pub to anybody visiting the Castlemaine area. (PS- Order the bangers and mash- I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
We went here for my daughters birthday in September and the food was amazing and staff were so friendly. I couldn't recommend this place enough:
The service was friendly, the lunch was perfect, the Guinness was great, and there was a warm fire - what more could you ask for! This place was a lifesaver as all the other restaurants were closed due to a power outage in the area. Luckily, this place had a generator to keep it running. Genius!
We were recommended this pub by the bar across the street as they were not serving lunch yet. We had a solid meal, and the service and locals at the bar were very friendly. We were seated near the fireplace—perfect for a chilly day.
