What Tina746 doesn't like about Cosy Cafe Creams:
I visited Cosy Cafe Benfleet today and was surprised by the high price of a tea cake, costing £3.20 each. My son had already ordered and paid, otherwise I would have left. I do not plan on returning to this cafe again. View all feedback.
I went to this restaurant with some friends on January 1st for breakfast. There were four of us and I just wanted to mention that the eggs were cold, which is not ideal considering they are usually the last thing to be cooked. When I went to pay the bill of £40, I mentioned the issue to the young girl at the till but received no response, no refund, and it seemed like she didn't care at all. Unfortunately, I won't be returning as a customer.
So disappointed with this restaurant, the food and service is normally good . However when I recently call in for lunch I was concerned about the fact that not all staff had face coverings even though they were serving behind the counter. The lady serving the food did have a face covering but customers also allowed to walk through the restaurant without face coverings.
Food is just cheap produce and staff seemed very miserable. Lucky to get a 2 star rating from me. Other cafes are much better especially for the price of breakfast
Been loads of times now not had a bad breakfast or lunch Extensive menu food fresh and home made Nice and cosy will be great for winter but summer was a bit warm in there need to sort some air conditioning out. Saying that, tables are not squashed in so great for families with children and buggys and elderly or disabled customers to navigate. Just what Tarpots needed!
The cafe was mediocre with average service. The owner was arrogant and refused to make any substitutions on the set breakfast menu. It's no surprise that their previous customers left and opened up Poppies cafe across the street. I definitely won't be returning there.
