The Local Bean - Castle Hill

The food quality is very good, but the service leaves something to be desired. This is the second time this month that they have lost my order. I am very disappointed in the service and believe they need to restructure their operations.

I stopped at this café for a quick coffee on my way somewhere else. The entire area has been recently renovated, so finding parking was a bit challenging. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience here. The service was extremely slow and the waitress was very unfriendly. I purchased some cake, but unfortunately, it seemed like it had been sitting out for too long. Although it looked good, after taking a bite, I ended up throwing it away. The coffee was decent and the fruit toast was tasty, but overall, the prices were high. I don't plan on returning to this café. It's frustrating that they can't seem to get the basics right.

The coffee at this restaurant is still excellent. However, I was disappointed when the staff declared the kitchen closed earlier than advertised, forcing them to remove the menus and specials. The apple and cinnamon muffin I ordered was reheated without my request, giving it a slightly sweaty appearance. The muffin lacked fresh flavor and only had two small pieces of apple. It's a shame to see such a promising local spot lose attention to detail, but at least the coffee was still enjoyable on a Sunday afternoon.

Had the best cattleburger I ever had today. beautiful friendly staff and a great atmosphere. has both internal and external devices.

Within walking distance for me and it never disappoints. The food has always been great and the portion sizes good. Flies are a bit of a problem in summer, but it is outdoors. The coffee is good as is the service. It's a pleasant little...spot for weekend brunch.
