He is the chef an... read more Friendly welcome and great food. This newly opened restaurant is a great addition to Castillonnes eating places. Run by a French/Irish couple. He is the chef and she the waitress and totally bilingual. Lovely people. Being a long time resident in France I miss that traditional dish fish and chips. At Magee's restaurant you get the real thing. Fresh fish in a delicious crispy batter and super real potato chips. Of course, they offer lots of French meals as well. Highly recommended. This restaurant will become my regular eating place.

Nice to see Lydie Robert again. We were invited out by our friends to celebrate our friend's birthday. Just the 4 of us, we started with drinks outside on the terrace before seating inside. Starters we all had scallops. Mains, we chose differently steak cooked to your liking and frites and Fish and Chips. The men had dessert consisted of gourmande desserts and a cream brûlée followed by coffee. Freshly prepared food, delicious, very tasty and good value. A great selection of foods to choose from. All fresh and local products from the region also homemade. Well worth a visit!! We have also had a few takeaways especially during lockdown
