The restaurant... read more Unfortunately, the good food and the nice atmosphere cannot make up for the poor service. The food tastes really well and has great presentstion. The restaurant's atmoshpere is really warm and the decor is nice, but all of this is ruined by the extremally slow service. The wait between courses is around 1h or more, so by the time you receive the main course the appetite is gone. It wasn't just our table that was served so slowly but the entire place. On top of that, our starter order was wrong and the situation was not handled well by the owner. We ordered 1 dish to share as a starter, but were brought 2 plates of a dish that we didn't order. When we flagged it, the owner insisted that this is what we ordered, then once we pushed back she said that what we ordered is actually finished and kind of imposed that we accept what she brought. We accepted to not ruin the evening and to not make the situation more awkward, but writing down customers orders would be a solution that can prevent this kind of situations. The restaurant has a lot pf potential, but is understaffed which results in needing to reserve at least 3h for a dinner there.

This place has everything you can wish for in an excellent dinner experience. Starting with greeting on arrival by super nice waitress stylish, upscale but yet homey feeling on arrival. Lots of local ingredients, wide menu where anyone will be able to find something for him her both on food and wine cocktails. Food quality and presentation top notch, Michelin can rest seeing this feast for eyes and taste buds. Thank you Chef! It was fantastic! Not cheap but you will enjoy every cent spent in this place. Thanks a lot to all the Sassegg team, hope to be back some day!

The food was truly excellent and the service incredibly friendl... read more We came here on the recommendation of our vacation apartment landlady and were not disappointed. The food was truly excellent and the service incredibly friendly. We had our dog with us, and he was also warmly welcomed. If you order the cheaper menu, the portions are a bit smaller, so you might want to eat everything. In the evening, we parked directly below the restaurant, which, according to the landlady, is fine in the evening. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
