These points make Da Gin a top venue for an outstanding evening. Every mushroom dish was excellent from tepid mushrooom and potato salad, sautéd mushrooms, fried mushooms in batter to nettle tagliolini in mushroom sauce not to mention the liquorice mousse: the chef is an artist. The Charmat method sparkling wine also was top class. Total satisfaction.

My Canadian humour ! No one got the joke but my evening had been saved by the charm of the owner Sig. Gin and my G T Dinner was excellent, service professional , wines suited for the choices. And the mamma in the kitchen prepared everything fresh and with love. Thoroughly enjoyable ... Buonissima 1500 Grazie

If this is the taste of the region,... read more We were informed that the food in this family restaurant is typical of Liguria. The dishes are pleasant in the presentation. If this is the taste of the region, it is plain and simple. But it is not gourmet. The red wine is served too hot. The dining room is bright and in good taste. The tables are not close. It is comfortable for a family and not so expensive.

Overall our meal was superb and yet reasonably priced. We were very impressed with this restaurant and the quality and a standard of the food. Our favourite restaurant on holiday in The Albenga region. Definite recommendation. Seemed to be popular with Italians which is a good sign. Need to book ahead though.
