I was here a year ago and had a great experience. This year was almost a good, but the girl behind the bar was struggling a little. Other than that, great steak again! Any of the Hitching Post reds go great with them. I got the 12oz ribeye. I had the baked potato last time but got the fries this time. Both good options. Didn?t care for the food or the ambiance but the staff are lovely. You need a reservation. The food was just OK. I had the filet and baked potato, my husband had the ribeye with veggies. Ordered my steak medium, it was medium rare so sent it back. My husband ordered his medium well, it was well. Our drinks were Moscow mules- they were ok. This place is so good! We've only been a few times but you see the same servers and they are hustling! You get a lot of food, and the service is fast and efficient but it doesn't feel rushed. It's a long and winding road but worth the experience for sure. Pro tip- check Costco in Santa Maria for gift cards $80 for $100 in value). The fries are really yummy! Don't worry about ordering an appetizer because you get a veggie plate, crackers, salad, shrimp cocktail, your main course plus a potato item, garlic bread, and a scoop of icecream. I don't drink but they serve a variety of adult drinks.
This is definitely one of the best places to eat meat. They have turned meat preparation into an art here. The food has such an incredibly good taste and structure that you keep eating it. The staff is incredibly friendly and the portions are more than fine. Overall a great place if you like meat.
Everything was delicious.... house made salad dressings to a beautifully cooked rib eye....Must go back when in the area!!
Possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. The service was outstanding, with the staff organized and attentive. Well worth the effort to find this out of way gem. Highly recommended.
Dont go to this place if you arent hungry! The appetizers were as big as, and as delicious, as the steaks! Great service, unreel food and a great find!
