It was incredible from start to finish, service was great especially our waiter Leandro giving us great recommendations throughout the meal. Even the kids meals were delicious!!! Lots available for all price ranges. A must visit when in Portugal

My wife o... read more We returned, having waited a while, since our last visit. For a restaurant that promotes itself as specialising in meat, it was a huge disappointment. My wife ordered ribs and I chose fillit steak, medium rare. The ribs were tough and the steak was over...cooked. The sides came before the meat and were luke warm. We tried to order half bottles of house red and white, neither was available. We left feeling let down and what a waste of time and money. It makes O'Agostinos, just down the road, even better value. Having complained, we were still presented with a bill, with everything still charged. Only after questioning, did they reluctantly take off our drinks, having insisted that we pay for both main courses. Another customer not going to ever return, or indeed recommend.

Portions are big and very affordable. The staff were very friendly and helpful when ordering. Lots of authentic Portuguese food to choose from. We loved the sausage to start with the garlic bread! And the meat was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend trying and we will definitely return on our next trip.
