On looking from the outside it looks like a cafe, however the food we had was delicious and not too expensive. The kitchen is visible through a glass window so you can see your food being cooked. We were brought bread with olive oil, olives, tuna with tomatoes and black eyed bean salad. We didn't order this, however it was lovely and cost €6. We then had large prawns and muscle stew both very tasty. Worth a visit View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Agua Salgada A Casa do Marisco:
A nice place so near to the sea with a very nice and fresh decor. The starters were more or less but the main dish was average. Honestly would not come back because even if the price is fair wasn't a memorable experience. Maybe the seafood is great... View all feedback.
What an amazing experience it was! After all the touristy traps in Lisbon and Porto we stumbled upon this little gem of a place in Quarteira, and went there every single day of our stay afterwards, because: a. the food is so good and fresh and not overpriced b. the attentiveness and humbleness of staff is something that we also pay attention to, and everyone at this restaurant was so accommodating, sweet and humble, you just want to hug those people ! . Juan was so sweet, and shy, presumably because he thought his English wasn't that good. But we're not coming to the restaurant to speak, we come mainly for the food and to feel cozy. When he saw us popping in 2nd night in a row and ordering a bit less than the previous night, he brought complimentary bread with butter, which was soooo good and fresh, and complimented so well the daily cooked shrimp that we had. On the third night we ordered bread, as it was so good, and they still did not charge us for it ! . We tried paying back in tips. The feeling we got was amazing and made our stay in Quarteira even better. Try their daily cooked shrimp, which comes with lemon and mayonnaise, sprinkled with coarse salt sounds simple, but it is SO GOOD, cooked to perfection, refreshing and simply amazing. All the other dishes we tried, including oysters, were also yummy. The sauce the clams come in is heaven in a pot for dipping bread into. We could not wait to visit them again and again every single day!
We are not seafoody people really, but looking for something different led us to chance upon this great little restaurant one lunchtime. We had an entrée of shrimp and olives, and then decided to stay, to go all out on a seafood platter! It was delicious. We left with our bellies full and a smile on our faces. It wasn't particularly busy at this time of day and the staff were friendly.
Verry teasty food ever full satisfy and good service overall everything nice
