If you are desperate for an ocean view with potential for viewing sunset, dependent on clear skies and cannot secure a reservation elsewhere, I would suggest a light bite and a drink. The clams and bread/bread butter, and house wine/drink of your choice would suffice. Once seated you will be provided a menu accompanied by an array of amuse-bouches which you *will* be charged 20€ for. Thankfully, I read a previous review and sent back olives and 3 baskets of bread ... I was a solo guest. I ordered clams and the lobster pancake with cockle rice to include hake after an elaborate recommendation of local food, delicacy and chef speciality . My serving was 1/3 of what surrounding guests were served whom ordered the same and I was charged additionally for the 1/5 piece of soggy hake. The lobster pancake was a disgusting fried roll/parcel filled with unidentifiable paste, seemingly no lobster or even identifiable fish. Surrounding guests also complained of their sub-par and insubstantial serving(s) of food/dishes. I was not provided change or a receipt resulting in a 20€ tip

I came by mysel... read more Simply amazing location on the cliff edge! It was unfortunately too windy for me to sit outside on the terrace, so I was seated near the window. I came by myself and was made to feel very welcome. My waiter was lovely and provided excellent advice for menu choices. I’m more of a fish eater than seafood itself so I selected the Seabass. It was cooked to perfection and my waiter prepared it by my table. Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re visiting Cascais and want the perfect location for a sunset meal with a view.

Overlooking the Bay and waves of sea water breaking is just a wonderful sight. We ordered the octopus salad which tasted refreshing and tasty! My wife had her scallops with shrimp and I had the prawn and rice. Both tasted delicious! Service was good. Price was a little pricey but overall it’s acceptable. Waiters is too direct about tips!

We ordered shrimp, oysters and an octopus salad. Everything was delicious. The oysters were humongous and very tasty. So were the other dishes. Definitely will be back.
