I found the restaurant by accident as I noticed the charming chairs and table out front. I went inside to eat. I had the veggie wrap and it came with potatoes chips (crisps). I also ordered a gin and tonic, which was in a large glass and refreshing. It was cool and comfortable sitting inside and a welcome break from running about being a tourist. If I was staying in Cascais, I 'd probably just have a quick lunch here every day. The Capitan seemed nice and ensured everything was good, which is always awesome. They have smoothies and other delights which are a warm welcome when you 're running around as a tourist and don 't necessarily always want to sit down and kill an hour or so at a more sit down restaurant. I would go back for sure!

P... read more While walking around Cascais we came across this lovely little spot. We had a toastie and wrap with a glass of wine. Such great food and special little place. Plan to get back there for another wrap before heading home in a few days. Totally encourage a visit to this great little place. Highly recommend the chicken wrap! Great service too from a family run little business.

Lots of options for drinks also. We had the Capitan Wrap and the Mixed Toastie and couldn't fault either. Family who own the cafe are really friendly. All in all it was a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend!
