Not a fancy place. Just a well run, delicious sub shop. I randomly looked up sandwiches in the area on my way from the airport. Lots of options like JJ, and JM... I wanted to try something local. This was a fantastic sandwich on the french bread. The bread was light and crunchy. I only planned on eating half, but couldn't help myself and took down the whole thing. We'll be back if we are in the area.
One of my favorite places to get a quick bite to eat in Renton. Reminds me of the old Sub Shop #7 in Seattle on Rainier that my mom took me to when I was younger. My lunch times don’t fall in line with the rest of the people in Renton because I am yet to experience a line or a bunch of people in the small parking lot. A 6” sandwich is more than enough for me. The combo with chips and a drink is a little pricy but worth it. Don’t expect it to be gourmet, but it’s good. And on a sunny day, you have the river right next door for a little picnic.
OMG. This is a gem. The best sub sandwich I've had in a long time. Already planning my next visit.
Only two vegetarian options and zero vegan options.
Right next to the Cedar River, and the whole wheat bread is quite soft!
