We tried the must-have Dan Dan noodles, Mapo tofu, Szechuan dumplings, wontons, salted egg pumpkin, and orange beef. Everything was delicious, even if the spice was lacking. Just a heads up about the orange beef — it’s very sweet, almost like cotton candy, which I personally enjoyed but didn’t expect. Overall, it was a fantastic meal!
As for parking, there’s plenty available in the strip mall. View all feedback.
What Jared doesn't like about Chengdu 7:
they got terrible service and food food safety is an issue, if you are lucky, you got extra nails or plastic in your food, and they don't really care about this issue View all feedback.
U can find some real Chinese Sichuan cuisine here,Which is really delicious spicy,Just forget about the dining area experience,The owner are really friendly even they don’t really speak English,I can speak Chinese though.
I've dined here twice now, and both experiences have been outstanding. Having grown up in Seattle, which boasts a vibrant Asian food scene, I like to think I have a discerning palate. On both visits, we ordered the pan-fried dumplings (I recommend adding soy sauce and chili oil to the dipping sauce), curry beef (just the meat, no vegetables), and General Tao’s chicken (not pictured). The meat is flavorful and tender, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the dumplings are crispy with a delicious filling. My husband rates the General Tao’s chicken a 7.5/10, appreciating its good balance of sweetness and spiciness. We will definitely be returning.
I just had my first experience at this restaurant, and it's the best Szechuan food I've had in the Triangle area! I can see why they're always so busy. I will definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.
The best Sichuan, snd probably the best Chinese food, I’ve had in NC. Used to live in NYC and get Sichuan all the time. This is the first place I’ve been that’s lived up to the Sichuan restaurants there. Had the Chongqing chicken, cumin lamb skewers, and vegetable ho fun.
This is one of the best and most authentic restaurants in the environment. many of my Chinese employees loved this place. eating is affordable, tasty and fill. the staff is courteous, and the service is immediately. a suggestion is to compensate for their meal with some acidic/sour/pickle-like, because many deer oily and fat (while absolutely delicious) can be. the braided sizzling ente is fantastic and delicate! I love to get takeouts from this place, but look at the visit in person because some of the food fresh can be served from the kitchen can do wonder!
