Was Jhoel Flores at Tacos Estilo D.f. a mag?
I recently visited Southern California for the first time (arrived at LAX) and was heading down to San Diego for a job. I was eager to sample some tacos and stumbled upon this hidden gem along the way. The staff were friendly, and the tacos were incredible, truly reminiscent of those in Mexico. I highly recommend checking it out! View all feedback.

We dine here almost every week. This amazing family-run pop-up taco shop offers more than just tacos. Their Huarache is fantastic—it’s like a soft tostada. The tacos are delicious, made with fresh, handmade tortillas right when you order. They also serve burritos, tortas, and mulitas, along with refreshing agua frescas. My colleagues from the ladder truck at the fire department and I never miss a chance to eat here whenever they’re open.
Home-style restaurant? Vegetarian options: You should definitely try the onion taco! Kid-friendliness: My kids really enjoy the plain beef tacos.
My boyfriend introduced me to this spot and it was the first place in awhile where I had fresh homemade tortillas. Something so comforting about their tortillas I haven't had any others like it. I usually get Asada and Al pastor tacos. However their Tortas are amazing as well. Come to think of it, everything I've had has been amazing and delicious. The Huaraches and burritos are pretty massive. My favorite aquas fresca is the pepino lemonade but sometimes they have orange which is fantastic. The family that runs it have been some of the most pleasant people I've encountered. There is definitely love put into their food.My boyfriend always gets the suadero tacos as it's his favorite. We come at least once a week! Must try :
Came here after my vaccination and wasn't feeling well in recovery and I am so glad I did. Needed something quick and well priced, just because it was about 10:15pm. I just ordered about 5 carne asada tacos for my partner and I to share. Very quality meat, flavor was wonderful, and the tortillas were amazing. Loved the red salsa they had with them, as well. Will definitely be coming back. So happy I found this place. Thanks Yelp!
This family-run taco shop in Southern California is a culinary gem, celebrated for its authentic flavors and welcoming atmosphere. Offering freshly made tortillas, standout tacos—including asada, al pastor, and huaraches—and refreshing aguas frescas, the restaurant has garnered a loyal following. Diners appreciate the quality ingredients and generous portions, while the friendly staff enhance the dining experience. Open late for those craving a late-night bite, this spot is a must-visit for taco enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste reminiscent of Mexico, though it occasionally lacks certain toppings like guacamole salsa.
