I was initially disappointed to find that there was only one buffet in the city, but to my surprise, this place had everything! They offered a Mongolian grill, sushi bar (with delicious sushi), various traditional Chinese buffet options, and my personal favorite, walnut shrimp. I am writing this review as I eat, excited to experience more delicious dishes. Hopefully, I can make another trip to this buffet soon. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about King Buffet:
My family and I used to visit this restaurant frequently, spending at least 2 weeks per month here. However, our last visit on Sunday 5/22/2022 was disappointing. The cashier was quite impolite and the food was subpar. The sushi was dry and seemed old.
I wasn't expecting much from a buffet, but this experience was beyond my worst expectations. The food was soggy, heavy, and clearly not handled properly to prevent cross-contamination. Even dishes that shouldn't taste fishy did. The sauces were almost like jelly. $17 for dinner buffet? More like $12 with a side of severe stomach pain.
It’s not a horrible buffet but it’s not the best I’ve been to. Food is ok too bland but at least it was fresh. Not an overly large selection of food. Service is pretty good and atmosphere is about average. They do have vegetarian options and kid choices. Sushi is sub par but about average for a buffet.
This has been one of my favorite spots since I was a child. I would definitely recommend it!
Food was okay. Dining area is always crowded because is only half is open. The other half is always closed. Your either seated near the restroom or the wash area.
