What Charlie Swaniawski likes about El Pollo Regio:
I just moved to Texas and looked for an authentic Mexican food while I was driving, I saw this place, didn't look great from the outside, and they said they were going through, I thought it was fast when I got my food, I knew that the longest journey through I had ever had to experience in my life. Finally my burrito arrived, I took the first bite and all my frustration turned into appreciation, I realized that they... View all feedback. What Adele Hoeger doesn't like about El Pollo Regio:
Decided to visit this spot to eat lunch with my boyfriend. Definitely not the best chicken I?ve tried in DFW. My opinion, the chicken was greasy; the rice lacked flavor and the tortillas that they serve are cold and hard. The soda station was serving drinks that tasted carbonated, like they needed to replace the syrup. The quality for the price you pay is overpriced in my opinion. $2 for 5 corn tortillas $20+ for hal... View all feedback.

read moreVisiting a restaurant with a friend, they noted that the chicken fell short of expectations with greasy flavors and poorly prepared rice and tortillas. The prices were considered high for the quality received, though the Charro beans and Chile de árbol salsa were highlights. Another customer found the chicken soup overpriced and excessively salty, lacking key ingredients. However, a third customer enjoyed the chicken and rice but criticized insufficient tortillas and cleanliness. Despite mixed reviews, a visitor was pleasantly surprised by the freshly made burrito, showing that appearances can be deceiving. Overall, the restaurant offers a friendly environment and good food quality, with some customers receiving extra food as a reward for the little longer wait times. Standout staff members like Wendy and Rolando were praised for their exceptional service, making the dining experience memorable.
