What Rosalind Parker doesn't like about The Armadillo Grill:
Very bland food. The chickens Nachos and Taco ordered. I should have expected it from a Mexican restaurant in North Carolina. Later in the night I found a taco truck on the street called Dona Lilia 's, which eats excellent authentic Mexican food truck style. Torta was g... View all feedback. What Shirley Weber likes about The Armadillo Grill:
A great place for a casual, fast lunch. Nachos are big and much for two or even three. I also had a bowl of chili filled with meat. Not your typical chili. There are almost so much meat in this chili you need a knife to cut it. It was not to season, but had a lot of taste and was well seasoned. Definitely a heavy meal. read moreThe Subpars Armadillo restaurant in North Carolina has received mixed reviews. While some customers found the food to be bland and disappointing, others praised the authentic Mexican flavors and generous portions. One reviewer mentioned finding better Mexican food at a taco truck called Dona Lilia's on the street. Additionally, some customers were upset about having to pay for salsa which used to be free at the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a casual atmosphere with a good selection of Tex-Mex dishes but may need to work on consistency and customer service to keep diners happy.
