Oakleaf - Carrboro

Such a wonderful experience at every visit. We enjoy their seasonal menu because it means there’s a new dish to love every time. Whenever our family visits from out of town, we make sure to bring them here. Oakleaf is a gem!

We had the chefs menu and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a chefs menu before but this place skyrocketed my standards. Each dish was well portioned for the price and you can taste the passion put into each dish. Absolutely would come again!

2nd time here, we did the chefs tasting menu, (both times) and some of us had the wine pairing. Both times everything was wonderful! The pairings went well and I can't say enough about the wonderful flavors of all the dishes! The service was good even if a little disconnected from the guests.

One of the best restaurants in Chapel Hill. If you don't have reservations, eat at the bar.

Food was and is always exceptional, however; the service tonight was horrible. My wife wanted to take me to my favorite spot to celebrate my birthday. The server was completely disinterested in serving. no refills, no banter, no explanation of menu, no water, literally dropped menus on the table and walked away only to return and ask if we had decided. This happened for the meal and dessert. My kind hearted wife decided to at least leave some tip but it was not deserved nor was it what we typically tip. too many other options in the area to suffer through this lack of service.
