I dined at the attached pub, and the food was fantastic—especially the steamed steak suet pudding with mashed potatoes, which is a huge hit. I will definitely be returning to stay here. There was a little fridge in the room which was very hand... read more Very close to Carnforth station, but the room was tiny, well stocked with tea, coffee and milk though. There was a little fridge in the room which was very handy. The room smelled strongly of dog and the window was screwed shut, very unpleasant especially as it was warm. There was no wardrobe and no drawers, just a rack with hooks and coat hangers on, it was all very cramped and unpleasant. For £95, excluding breakfast, was way overpriced. Just to add I booked directly with the hotel in April for my stay in September, so no booking agent was involved and booking that far in advance I would expect the best room in the hotel not the smelly dog room. Rooms: Tiny and nowhere to put anything. Noteworthy details: No wardrobe or drawers, smelled strongly of dog. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5
