Description

Nestled in Carnegie, PA, LeoGreta delivers warm, down-to-earth Italian cooking with house-made pastas, superb antipasti (burrata, goat-cheese salad), standout chicken parm, meatballs and memorable desserts. Portions are generous; sides like honey-roasted carrots impress. Service is consistently attentive and celebratory—ideal for birthdays, groups or intimate dinners—with upstairs private dining and free parking. Wine lists skew pricier, but the experience balances quality and value. Vegetarian and gluten-free options plus kids' pasta portions make it a reliable neighborhood destination for authentic, lovingly prepared fare.

The BEST spot in Pittsburgh. Brought back memories of the delicious meals we had at Fatigati’s back in the day. The chef, Greg, is wonderful and always comes out to chat after our meal. Will forever recommend this spot!

I read some of the negative reviews before I tried LeoGreta. OK, so negative nellies, you were looking for food prepared like they make it in Tuscany? Come on. We're in Pittsburgh. By Pittsburgh Italian restaurant standards, this is a good restaurant. The Chicken Parmesan was good. The highlight, though, was the side dish of roasted carrots that I ordered. They made them with honey and sunflower seeds. The sunflower seeds are barely noticeable,(a good thing) and the honey was not overdone. The portion was huge... plenty for 2 or more people. The arugula/radicchio salad was just, ok. Service was great, and the staff is really good. You can tell they enjoy working there... always a sign of a well-managed restaurant.

Fantastic as usual! Not inexpensive but not overly expensive either. Food and service were excellent. Wine was very good. The desert was excellent too. Share if you need to but don't pass on them.Food: 5/5
