It had been about a year... read more Last week, my wife and I decided to go out for a bite to eat and enjoy a beer. Before the pandemic, this was one of our favorite spots! It had been about a year since our last visit, and we were excited to return because we love the bar food and their great rotating beer selection. However, as soon as we walked in, we noticed a musty smell that was difficult to ignore, reminiscent of dirty dish towels and old fryer oil. My wife suggested we try another place, but I insisted we stay and enjoy some beers and their delicious wings. Now, let me get to the main point: the place really needs a thorough cleaning! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the beers were refreshing, but the cleanliness was a significant issue. The bathrooms were a bit dirty, the tables felt sticky, and that unpleasant smell lingered in our minds throughout our visit. This is a great little spot if you’re in the area, but to the folks at Alexions, please prioritize maintaining a clean establishment!

A half sandwich is more than sufficient, but if you're really hungry, you should opt for the full sandwich! You'll definitely leave feeling fully satisfied. I highly recommend this place for a casual drink and a meal.

I order the smokehouse burger and it was a nice size with good flavor (wish it could have been cooked rare), and an ordered fries well done with a side of gravy. By the time I got back to my hotel (5 minute ride) the bun for the burger and the fries were both soggy and oddly, and the gravy for the fries was out of the fridge cold, which I didn't expect. Given another chance, I would try Alexions again, but eat at the location.
