Great sushi spot and always a good time. Staff is super friendly and attentive. They have a variety of great sake as well. Get the chefs special just tell them what u want/don't want. Soooo good!!!
I absolutely adore this sushi spot! This charming little restaurant has been a local favorite for 20 years, and it has consistently delivered an exceptional dining experience with outstanding service, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. We really enjoy the silver sake, the ambiance, and, of course, the sushi! My personal favorite is the pepperfin, but honestly, everything on the menu is great. While it can be a bit pricey, what sushi restaurant isn't? It's definitely worth it!
I've been visiting Silver Sake for several years now, and it has a cozy neighborhood bar vibe. Jon is our favorite for his incredible custom-made rolls, but all the chefs are fantastic. I'm actually on my way there now!
The only drawbacks were that the wooden chairs were a bit too hard for comfort, and the air conditioning or fans were set too cold for an already chilly night. Other than that, the service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding, making it nearly worth the price. My favorite was the double salmon roll (bottom left in the photo)—absolutely delicious! The silver dragon roll was also amazing (bottom right in the photo). The Sacramento roll was slightly overcooked (top), and the rainbow roll (middle) was just okay. Overall, we had a great experience!

I'm a big fan of hidden gems, as I believe you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. However, this place fell short of my expectations. The menu included far too much mayo on the rolls for my liking!
Upon our arrival at 8:30 PM, just half an hour before closing, we were greeted with warmth and inquired about our day. We couldn’t help but feel a slight twinge of guilt for arriving so close to closing time...
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I've already visited twice, and I can't wait to go back again soon. The omakase rolls and all the omakase options are definitely must-tries!

I've been to this restaurant for lunch twice, and I usually go for the $8 lunch box, with drinks available for an additional charge. The meal is quite filling, featuring soup, salad, rice, and two main dishes. For instance, one time I enjoyed a California roll with four pieces and roughly an ounce and a half of sesame chicken.
I’m thrilled about my tofu bento box! I can't wait to try your new vegetarian menu as well! I just wanted to share some photos of the custom vegetarian bento box they created for me. Honestly, it has the BEST TOFU IN SACRAMENTO! This place is truly a hidden gem!

I don't understand the negative reviews regarding the management and staff. Silver Sake has a warm, welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of the TV show "Cheers," but for sushi lovers. Ignore the one-star ratings and come savor some delicious sushi while experiencing the fantastic service from a great team!
This is, without a doubt, the best neighborhood sushi bar I've ever been to. It's like the "Cheers" of sushi spots, featuring incredible food, superb service, and a friendly ambiance. Make sure to arrive with a hearty appetite. The nachos and the pepperfin (genuine Hamachi toro fin) are absolute must-tries. And don't forget to sample the fried jalapeños for an extra treat!
Absolutely delicious sushi rolls. Fabulous service. Very affordable. We have been dining here about 15 years. Won’t go anywhere else for sushi.
