We had an incredible experience at our rehearsal dinner! The venue provided the perfect intimate atmosphere for a wonderful meal with our family and friends, much of which we owe to Eder. We can't express our gratitude enough to Eder and the staff for the flawless execution of the evening. Eder was exceptionally considerate throughout the planning process, working within our budget to design a menu that delighted our guests. He reached out to us both a week prior and the day before the event to confirm details, and he even took the time to check in on us regarding our upcoming wedding, which truly showed how much he cared about making our celebration memorable. During the dinner, the waitstaff was incredibly attentive, ensuring everyone had plenty of wine and food. The ambiance was just right, with beautiful lighting and well-arranged table settings. We highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in Carmel Valley; it made our event genuinely special! Thank you, Eder!
The Corkscrew is a must-visit when you're in Carmel. Their pizzas are quite unique, particularly the Meyer Lemon pizza, which happens to be my personal favorite. The salads are also outstanding; I've sampled nearly everything on the menu, and my top picks are the pear arugula salad paired with the Meyer Lemon pizza. The goat cheese platter is incredibly delicious too, along with all their pizzas, and don't miss the burrata with grapefruit and beet salad. I highly recommend it—the atmosphere is lovely and outdoor-friendly, and it's a great spot for dogs as well!
I ordered the lemon zest pizza, and I was pleased with my choice. Each pizza consists of 8 slices, making one pizza just right for 3-4 people. The flavor was delightful, and the ingredients tasted fresh. We stopped by for a quick meal, and it was truly delicious. I would definitely come back for more!
Amazing place with fantastic food. Also, stop by Georis to pick up a bottle to enjoy with your meal—they don’t charge any corkage fees!
Corkscrew is probably our favorite restaurant (our kids' favorite too! in Carmel Valley and there are so many great restaurants to choose from! Some favorite dishes: onion strings stack the whole family LOVES these Cowboy Bordeaux blend by the glass or bottle so good! Tomato salad one of my favorite dishes pizzas especially the one with corn! One tip if you're doing takeout is to skip the beet salad since it's delicious but tends to be a small portion. Overall dine in is better than eat out especially for the salads. Enjoy!
