Good pizza at a reasonable price, this place is like walking back into a slice of Carmel Valley history. Closed on Tuesday and some holidays (like Mothers day) they also serve beer and wine. View all feedback.
What moiathome doesn't like about Pages.r.seo.title. Pages.r.seo.title.:
I am a resident of Carmel Valley and have purchased take-out pizza from the Stirrup Cup 2-3 times during the COVID-19 outbreak. The first times I was very confident that they were taking appropriate precautions following public health department guidelines. However, yesterday things had changed. None of the employees were wearing masks. A group of 5, looking like cooks and wait-staff were sitting at a table together,... View all feedback.
I wasn't a big fan of the sauce but all the vegetables tasted great and had a good amount of cheese.
Their is the best deep dish pizza you can have in Carmel valley. Their partner restaurant is very nice, for everything that's not pizza. Service is quick too
If you like the thin crust New York style with mozzarella, this isn't the place. I like NY style, too, but Stirrup Cup goes Chicago style. Never ordered the thick crust, but their thin crust is perfect. The sauce and use of provolone, which has the consistency of mozzarella but way more flavor, make it unique. Excellent cheese, pepperoni, combos. Only gripe is that they tacked on a 20% tip for 4 pizza takeout because it was such a large order, they said. Okay. I only tip 10% for takeout, max. Not cool.
Great pizza as always and fantastic dynamic customer service, shout out to Mary for making fantastic conversation and keeping a good vibe
The pizza here was very good. The pizza was deep but the dough was still crispy and not soggy or greasy. The bread sticks rocked too. I had never had ranch as a dipping sauce for bread sticks before coming to California, but now I'm a believer! Service was excellent.
