What Tareq B doesn't like about Katy's Place:
Service was prompt. The food is average but the prices are very expensive. Breakfast for two without coffee, juice or mimosas, just water, for $50!!! If the food was extra ordinary, I would say ok. Worst part is that you have to wait to pay at the counter and the cashier also collects the tips View all feedback.
This is a Cash only Cafe and they don 't tell you that when you get seated. I happened to see it in the corner of a menu, after I already ordered and started drinking my coffee. I ended up having just enough cash for coffee, but not for food. They said there 's an ATM close by, but I didn 't want to deal with leaving my table to walk to ATM, then come back to eat. Menu looked good, but the no CC choice is ridiculous. After finishing my coffee I had to look for another place to eat. Who in 2023 has a cash only business.

Awesome, went here all three days we were there. Tried three diff breakfasts and all were outstanding. Nothing fake or rushed here!
Stopped by to check out Katy's place. Breakfast and service was really good. Most definitely a great spot. Hang out on the patio, they have heaters for the deck area so it's comfy. Thanks guys for a awesome breakfast and atmosphere.
Used to be my favorite breakfast spot in Carmel, but they keep disappointing me lately. The food is okay, but the service is just not good for the price level of this restaurant. No attention and condescending behavior. Dirty plates, mugs and silverware. If I pay 50 dollars, per person cash for breakfast, I'd at least want to be treated like I'm welcome and not a burden.
