Service was great. Tables are a little too close to others if you're a 2 top. Had the short ribs they were good, but left hungry. Wife had the halibut she liked it as well. Price was pretty high for what it was. Noting spectacular View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Vivante French Eatery:
Far from what they market. Food was cold, sent back cold again, so we gave up. Service is in no way what typical Marriott autograph collection offers. Beer bottle left on table had to ask of a glass. Just not the service you'd expect. Disappointing. View all feedback.
We had brunch in one of their outdoor igloos. The food was great both my husband and I had the Vivante breakfast. The server was kind and quick. The igloo was a neat experience but it was dirty. There were crumbs on the table and food (I spotted old, dried pasta) on the floor. It would be lovely if a little more attention was taken on cleanliness.
I normally have great things to say about this restaurant, so I'm hoping today was an off-day. While the food was good, the service was sub-par. Our server wasn't very attentive, and we had to ask other waiters to find him. He didn't clear our plates from the table. The restaurant was not crowded, but our minimal effort cocktails took awhile to arrive. Also, I typically love their **** Mary's; however, this was the smallest one I have ever received there, and it lacked garnishes. Again, I'm normally a fan, so I hope this was just a bad day.
Kassidy was an excellent waitress—attentive to our requests very professional! The food was delicious as well. The igloo atmosphere was really fun and festive. I did notice as I entered the igloo that we had to stoop down to get in or move around inside. I'm sure your wait staff all have backaches, since they have to do it repeatedly. They should all receive a complimentary chiropractor visit massage once the igloos are removed for the season!
Almost everything was excellent. The only issue was that we had a waiter service area right at our back, which was disappointing and, at times, very loud as they were getting new table settings out. Other than that, it was wonderful. They even gave my daughter a free dessert for her 25th birthday celebration.
The food and service was good! For food at that price point, it fell very flat. Having been to a couple French spots, this is the best option in the Indianapolis area. So I would recommend it if you have an immediate craving for French food, otherwise I would stick to NY, DC.
