Villa Sombreros - Carmel

When we discovered a Mexican restaurant in Carmel, we couldn't resist checking it out. It definitely lived up to our expectations! We kicked off our meal with margaritas and a watermelon salad. The drinks were fantastic, and the salad was bursting with flavor. The entrees were generous in size and equally delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next night for more margaritas!

This restaurant is a fantastic option for Mexican cuisine in the Carmel area. The staff was friendly and attentive, checking if I wanted more chips and salsa before we finished the first batch. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals.

The best restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea! We enjoyed salads, a main course, dessert, and tea afterward. The food was outstanding, the Sevilen wine was exceptional, and the dessert was phenomenal. The service was warm and welcoming. Everything is made fresh in-house. I had the stuffed eggplant (Karniyarik), while my wife savored the juices. They even have Baklava! Highly recommend!

I'm always afraid to try Mexican food in coastal towns. I've never liked one of them, even if the reviews are good. Growing up in the central valley we know good Mexican food. That was really good. Husband has a margarita and I have a paloma, they were not great. You Steak Fajitas were really good as the Enchiladas. Salsa was also great. You can always say whether food will be good by tasting salsa. We're definitely coming back.

This restaurant has a great menu, prices are reasonable and drinks are good, service is a little slow and only one bathroom, but they are very kind. Homemade tortillas. The salsa is a 10 plus. I definitely will return over and over again. That's why I said 4 star's. I like the family ambiance. I'll return with my girlfriend again!!!!!!.
