the food was excellent and the location in the middle of the city was great. not much atmosphere. but we sat at the front window, so not sure that it was important. in any case worth a visit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Villa Sombreros:
fantastic location, in the middle of carmel. charming decor is tempting. but eating is short, especially at the price. Now, the price is not too surprising given the situation, but I really wish that ceviche was really a true ceviche, instead of boiled otopus and garnel in a sauce. handmade tortillas are okay. Our waitress was charming. Service was fast and efficient. The food was delicious and plentiful.

No one in there but us then all the sudden some dude came in and was talking to us about the food but than critiqued our food options than walked to the back
We had the Halibut special a shrimp quesadilla both were excellent. We also loved the margaritas. Thank you!
