Fat Dan’s - Carmel

The Italian beef sandwich was amazing! We were here twice and had pizza, Italian beef and supa dupa grilled cheese and all were fantastic. Excellent fries too! Today stopped for lunch and our server, Kellie, was brilliant and not only knew the menu well, but took care of us with a happy and amusing attitude! We will be back soon:

Absolutely fantastic - wide selection of smoked meat, sandwiches, pizza and beer. Smoked wings are the best I cost. Great service. Ask Brandy, she'll take care of you.

I was very excited when I found out Fat Dan was coming to Carmel. My daughter and I had the opportunity to try it today. When I heard an Italian beef sandwich from Chicago sounded incredibly good, so I ordered one. Unfortunately after three or so bite my mouth and lips burned. This sandwich was extremely spicy and I couldn't eat it. Our server had no explanation why the sandwich was so bad. Italian beef has spices, but is not sharp. This is a supplement to my original post. After the management came to me, my husband and I had lunch at Fat Dan. He had the Italian beef and I had the combo. We enjoyed it very much! I had mine with sweet green paprika and asked for it to dip easily. It was exactly what I ordered and was delicious. I appreciate the management and make an offer to give them another attempt. I'm looking forward to tasting Calzone or Pizzas there.

Great place to see the Cubs and have excellent Chicago favorites, including Old Style on design.

Our first visit, great surprise. Best Turkey burger, best Hamburger. Will be returning to try more .
