Empire Bagels - Carmel

My family and I have been visiting the Cortlandt Manor location, but since we were in Carmel, we decided to try the local spot, and it did not disappoint! We ordered French toast and pancakes for the kids, and my wife and I had two breakfast sandwiches. Everything was excellent! The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and we will definitely be back!

I ordered a Cobb Salad and was served one with pink and discolored rotten eggs. The food quality was terrible. It's evident that the managers or owners of this restaurant do not prioritize quality control or providing fresh food. I will never order from this location again.

I was quite disappointed when I hurried over here after work, only to find that they were closing early. I understand the desire to go home and unwind, but it feels discouraging to have an employee wave at me from inside while they turn off the lights, especially when I’m looking at the posted store hours. Yes, these were the updated (shortened) hours. I recommend calling ahead to confirm they're still open, or just choosing a different place to eat.

The juices are great. However I could not get over the amount of bugs in the food cases. When I let a staff member know that there were Flys crawling all over the deli meat, she told me that she already knew. Even asked if I had advice on how to get ridof them. The bakery items were also in a case full of flies. However this seemed to be of no concern to the staff. The pricesseemed outrageous for the quantity and quality of the items that we received.

Where do I start! Don?t order via Grubhub or Uber eats. It?s super expensive and they always get your order WRONG! You might as well go in and dine in. Not sure if is that they can?t read. I ordered the bagel w/Lox, it?s supposed to come with capers andtomato?s, well, my order arrived with a tiny piece of lox, no capers, no tomato and enough cream cheese to smear on a bakersdozen. Not worth it, they are not receiving any penny from. Get it together EMPIRE BAGELS smh
