What Aaron Mayr-Mauhart likes about Dooley O Tooles:
Where do I start? Maybe how I wish I could fill my bathtub with that ranch and swim in it? Perhaps the crispy tenders? Maybe the potato skins? Or maybe just Doug’s lovely smile. This place rips. View all feedback. What Caitlyn Hessel doesn't like about Dooley O Tooles:
Have to say.. that ridiculous rule about not seating groups over 4 until all are present REALLY pissed me off. Was waiting in the lobby during a dead lunch hour for 15 mins. Was meeting for business. I bring customers and employees here at least weekly. That may change after today. Ridiculous!! View all feedback.

read moreNestled in Carmel, Indiana, Dooley O'Toole's presents a nostalgic dining experience, albeit one that some critics feel has grown stale over the years. While the restaurant boasts a solid reputation for its friendly service and hearty, home-cooked dishes, such as the renowned pork tenderloin, many patrons find the menu options merely adequate in comparison to the plethora of dining alternatives available today. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with commendations for the soup and signature tenderloin, yet some diners express frustration over service policies and pricing. Ultimately, it remains a cherished spot for loyal locals, particularly for those seeking comforting American cuisine.
The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly.
The grilled meatloaf is fantastic! The tenderloin and cole slaw are also delicious.
The breaded tenderloin is A+! Huge, crispy, tender, with a big slice of real, ripe tomato! Fries are hand-cut and can be ordered without salt!
