Donatello's - Carmel

This beautiful Italian restaurant is located in the heart of Carmel! I absolutely love the food and the homemade desserts! The staff and owners are wonderful! We can’t wait to dine here again!

This restaurant is fantastic with friendly staff. The owner personally welcomed us, which was a nice touch. We both ordered the veal, and it was absolutely wonderful. It was a great evening overall! I highly recommend this place.

The food was excellent, but the service left something to be desired. The waitress was a bit curt and somewhat impolite. On the other hand, the gentleman who assisted with our drinks was very friendly. However, the main waiter could benefit from improving his manners with customers. All in all, we had a good dinner and we will definitely come back!

After reading previous reviews about Donatellos, I was not ready to try. Because we had such a good experience, I decided to write this review. Adam was our waiter. He was attentive and helpful. The wine and the food were delicious and everyone had a great time in our party when 4!

Went for dinner and split 2 dishes and the chefs choice (side of pasta with 3 people and it was more than enough food. The homemade dressings were great and all of the pasta dishes were awesome. The chicken Marsala had a wonderful sweet glaze and the chefs choice sauce with olives, carpers and tomatoes was also VERY good. The pesto penne was Ok but kind of dry. We all really enjoyed this cute little place and the staff was very friendly! Enjoy :
