Despite the cafeteria-like atmosphere, the breakfast special was a hit, complete with a surprising $3.50 tea charge. The dinner menu received mixed reviews, with fried chicken being subpar but breakfast being a delight. Although not expecting much from a casino restaurant, diners were impressed with the black and blue steak. The restaurant also offers a variety of tasty options, with friendly service and generous portions. Overall, visitors raved about the food quality and accommodating staff at this unexpected find.
We stopped in at growlers for pizza with a medium size group. We enjoyed the food and beers and would go back again!
Our experience with a dinner of fried chicken was mediocre at best. The soup and sandwich special ...chicken rice soup tasty but a bit too salty, the sandwich was a chicken burger. I do not recommend it at all as it was a very thin breaded and deep fried with barely enough chicken to see.HoweverBreakfast was really enjoyable, first time in a restaurant where my medium egg turned out medium, very nice meat choices and baby potatoes plus toast and coffee included.
Was the first in a very long time were coffee is included with breakfast. That's a point right there!!!!!!!!Shy on the very tasty 1/2 cut mini spuds. Toast eggs and bacon were fine. Serving on a hotter plate would make the day. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating.
This restaurant is one of the best in the area. the food and service are absolutely amazing. Keep up with the fantastic job
I live in Carlyle and have never heard of Growler's restaurant. Where is it located? Thanks in advance
