Description
A comprehensive menu of Zero Degrees Celsius from Carlton featuring all 9 dishes and drinks can be found here on the list.
Welcome to Zero Degrees Celsius, the first fusion café in Melbourne where traditional Japanese Teishoku meets the delightful innovation of Ochazuke-Infused Rice. Our journey began with a passion for creating mouthwatering desserts, but after indulging in various Japanese cherished delicacies, we realized that our take on Ochazuke was truly one-of-a-kind! In blending inspiration from our menu drafts, we crafted a modern fusion experience that features an exciting array of sides along with the beloved Japanese Ochazuke Teishoku. To elevate your experience even further, we’ve harmoniously paired our dishes with Melbourne's favorite—bubble tea! Despite our name evoking coolness, our commitment is to serve you with warmth and hospitality that will wrap you in comfort. Come and enjoy a culinary adventure that celebrates the best of both Japanese and Melbourne’s vibrant flavors, right here at Zero Degrees Celsius!.

I work in the area and decided to stop by since I often walk past this place. At first, I thought it was just an ice cream shop, but after looking at the menu, I saw they also serve food, so I invited a friend to join me. The food was actually pretty good, it came as a set with bingsu for dessert, which was a nice touch. I’m not sure if the place is still open now, but I hope more people get to try it! This new Japanese fusion café on Lygon Street is a lovely spot with a calm and stylish atmosphere. I had the Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte (no sugar), and it was amazing! The rich matcha paired perfectly with the caramelized brûlée topping and a hint of sea salt. The mochi donuts looked delicious, so I’ll be back to try those and more from their menu. The staff were very friendly, making the visit even better. I’ll definitely return! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–20
This fusion cafe is such a hidden gem! Serving great quality Japanese teishoku with ochazuke and they have a big menu for their fancy drinks too (we tried the viral cracked matcha latte, Thai milk tea coffee and ice cream latte). The atmosphere is very cozy and aesthetic too, would be a lovely spot for a Japanese-inspired date night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch
