We were in Melbourne for a work conference, and went for a walk to find a nice restaurant. Decided to stop at Nero, and sat outside as it was a nice night. The service was great with Italian waiters, who were happy to have a chat and a laugh. Some had pizza, and fish, but I had a Carbonara. Was fantastic, and I really enjoyed it. We drank some Italian beers ( can't think of the name) but they were cold, and reasonably priced. Great restaurant, excellent service, and a fun place to eat. Highly recommended

This included a mussel soup (delicious but very light on for the soup part), polenta chips with a Gorgonzola dipping sauce (delicious again), bread and a...main of pizza or pasta. I had pasta carbonara which was quite horrible actually. Too much prosciutto and no sauce so it was like eating a bowl of salt.
