Gianna's - Carlstadt

The ambiance is pleasant, and the service is excellent, but the cleanliness of the dining area leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, none of the entrees we ordered had much flavor.

I always enjoy this place for lunch or dinner. This time, I visited for lunch and brought four guests with me. They were greeted warmly upon entering. The bread is consistently excellent. Our server, whether for lunch or dinner, is always outstanding. I highly recommend the bun or the eggplant parmesan with fresh vegetables.

We dine at Gianna a few times each year and are always pleased with our experience. The food and service are excellent, making this Italian gem well worth a visit. The gnocchi bolognese is fantastic, and both the veal saltimbocca and chicken parmesan are consistently good. They also offer a large selection of desserts. The family-style dining option is perfect for groups. We’ll definitely return whenever we’re in the area!

We are regulars at Gianna's for over 20 years. The good and service cannot be beat! Great little family-owned restaurant in Carlstadt, NJ, near racetrack. Great veal parmigiana cheese with linguini. The cream puff with vanilla ice-cream and fudge sauce was huge and to die for! Go there.
