This is what you typically expect from fast food in Carlsbad, but the standout feature was the smiling and friendly service at the drive-thru window. I was genuinely surprised to see someone so dedicated to serving their customers! That extra star really goes to the lady at the window. Great job! View all feedback.
What Roger Ramjet doesn't like about Wienerschnitzel:
First time visit to Carlsbad store. 8 dogs today...4 with kraute...4 chile cheese dogs. Krauts and chile barely covered ti wiener. Forgot the cheese...buns stale...VERY stale. So disappointing. Will go to Roswell next time. No excuse for such poorly made dogs. Learned my lesson...an expensive lesson. Considered taking them back and making the clerk eat them. View all feedback.
When they first opened it was iffy, but now the drive thru doesn't take forever and the food has been on point almost everytime me and my family come here.
Cooked to order. Hot food. Order was correct. Better than expected. First time visit. Definitely coming back. Staff was awesome.

I Love me some Chili Cheese Dogs, when I was a kid we grew up near the Original Wienerschnitzel, was Happy they opened up here in Carlsbad, Hobbs was an event to get my Chili Cheese Dogs! Sad that they are pricing themselves out of Business ?
I love Wienerschnitzel and was so excited when this one finally opened. We waited in the very long drive thru. They were very quick and the food was pretty good but that is were it ends. I had gone to the main site and looked for our location. One of my favorite things about Wienerschnitzel is the coupons. I saved one for $2 jalapeno poppers. An employee brought us a paper menu to the car while we waited with no prices. When it was my turn to order the very nice employee informed me they were not accepting coupons. Okay no biggie. Moving on we decided we would get a crowd pleaser because it seemed like the best deal. The menu board said the #7 Crowd Pleaser was $28.99. That seemed higher than the other locations I had been to but living in Carlsbad I was use to that. When I got to the window my total was $34.30. That seemed like a lot of tax. Turned out the Crowd Pleaser was $31.86 not $28 99. I asked them about it and they told me that they were having issues and the prices on the menu were not accurate. So I had to just pay $3 more. We paid and I complained the whole time we ate our very expensive lunch. It just didn't taste as good going through all that and I haven't been back. Really dissapointing. TL:DR Good food. Prices were different at window than on menu board. Didn't take coupons.
