The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic at this restaurant in downtown Carlsbad. It's the ideal place for a family meal or a cozy evening out. Definitely worth a visit!

We stopped by this restaurant on our way to the caverns this weekend, and we’re so glad we did! Each outdoor table had an adjustable fan, which was a nice touch since we had to dine outside due to Covid. Despite the heat and restrictions, the service was excellent! Our waitress even brought us sliced oranges for our 11-month-old, which was such a kind gesture. The food was absolutely fantastic, especially their house barbecue sauce, which was delicious. We definitely plan to return on our next visit!

Unfortunately, when we arrived during regular business hours, the restaurant was closed. The manager came out to apologize, and he was very friendly, providing excellent customer service. It’s a shame the place was closed, as we had to turn away.

The food is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. If you're unsure about what to order, they will patiently assist you in making a decision.

I absolutely love this place! Whenever we head to work, we always make a stop here for a meal. The dish we get is always excellent, especially the smoked macaroni and cheese, which is simply amazing. The beans are tasty and the hush puppies are also good. But what really stands out are the incredible cherry cobbler and pecan pie. We'll definitely be back! The staff is consistently friendly and ensures your drinks are always full. If you arrive before 11:00, be prepared to wait outside, as it starts to get busy at noon. For two people, we ordered brisket platters with three sides, two drinks, and either cobbler or pie, and it only came to about $40, but it definitely leaves you feeling satisfied!
