The Clink - Carlow

Friendly staff but under staffed. Service was slow. I had to ask twice for an orange juice that took 20mins to arrive. Very expensive breakfast. €65 for myself, wife and 2 kids. My daughter had a raw potato chip on her plate and this was dismissed/ignored. Overall very disappointed and won’t be back.

We have been here a few times, it's a fantastic place to have a meal,great menu, loads to choose. Great atmosphere for any occasion, get-together, parties, families. Lighting is very disturbing to the eyes though,bulbs are too close,, while eating,,packing close is a hit and miss situation, Fish meal is lovely, but the lasagna wasn't nice, tasteless and runny,like what you get in a supermarket and did not like the garlic bread on top of it because it was soggy ,wouldn't recommend baked potato with it ,just chips, baked potato should be served only with a roast dinner meal, salad was very nice though ,,,

We really enjoyed brunch at the Clink. We were celebrating a birthday and we were blown away by how special the staff made the occasion. With balloons and a special 'Happy Birthday ' dessert, it was definitely a brunch to remember. The food was delicious and the cocktails were 10/10. I will definitely be recommending brunch at The Clink to my friends. Can 't wait to visit again.

Dined in with my friend last night. Food was lovely (especially the dessert) however I have to compliment my server. I never got my servers name however her personality was amazing. Very friendly and super helpful. She was short with black hair and she is a credit to the place
