After she looked at me for the third time, I wonder if some... read more When I came in, I don't greet. I stood there for about 5 minutes and watched someone wipe something. After she looked at me for the third time, I wonder if someone is working the register. She said, Oh, I didn't know you were there. During my order I was interrupted to be asked if I wanted to throw something for the cheese (I always don't go cheese on my bottoms) and it threw me out. Let me finish my order, let alone my sentence before you challenge me to alternatives. I asked for an Italian, with extra onions and extra Italian dressing. Not only did the young man smile at me when he gave me my sandwich, he knows he put Mayo on the sandwich and almost no onions. Sounds small, I know. But I didn't have a firehouse in the year. I guess it'll take 5 years.??

It took two employees to work the register, and neither seemed to be in training, as they discussed what to do. Watching the sandwich manufacturers was more laughable as they spent more time staring at each other, the floor, or the ingredients for the sandwiches that they do not. Not only have I waited for fifty minutes for a simple hook and ladder, but I talked to other girls they waited for over an hour.

The food is consistently great, whether you choose to dine in or take out. Their commitment to supporting a good cause is commendable, and the meals are satisfying. All the subs are excellent, but don't miss out on the Firehouse Chili—it's a standout dish in its own right. And for a bit of fun, be sure to get a Pickle Bucket. It's a quirky addition, and although it's a 5-gallon bucket, it's definitely a great choice! Overall, this place deserves a solid 5-star rating.

The bread was a bit thick and didn’t seem very fresh. However, the flavors were still quite good. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was attentive. There were also clear directions for getting there via subway, as well as information about other sub-specialty restaurants in the area.

I've never felt r... read more As soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed. The staff is extremely friendly and offers great suggestions and assistance with portion sizes. I've never felt rushed while placing my order in-store, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The place is clean and well-lit, making it a perfect setting. It's become my new favorite lunch spot whenever I work in Carlisle. Kid-friendliness: The staff is lively and attentive to guests of all ages. My little cousins always enjoy coming here with me.

The Turkey, Ham and Gilled Chicken Subs were a very nice size, tasted fresh and yummy with plenty of meat, fresh veggies and nice sub rolls.Cookies and Chips were also quite good! This is my first time using Firehouse Subs and if I do another lunch in this area, I'll definitely be using them!

The bread was a bit thick and didn't taste super fresh, but it still had a great flavor. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the staff were friendly and engaging. Overall, it far surpasses Subway and other sub specialty places.

When an employee finally came over, she seemed uninterested in serving us. Both she and the other staff member treated us like an unwelcome interruption to their day. As we are of a different race, we could sense a palpable hostility directed toward us. Their demeanor, behavior, attitude, and body language all conveyed a clear disdain for our presence.
