The restaurant is small but very clean and tidy. The service and food were excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would certainly recommend this restaurant ideally situated in the city centre and close to a number of bars and the railway station. It is a good idea to book in advance as space is a premium. We had our table booked for over a week with friends we hadn’t seen for along time. On arrival we gave our name and were told our table was upstairs. When arriving to our table we were in a room with a children’s party of around 20 kids. We could not hear ourselves speak. We asked the waitress to be moved but she said there was no room. Good classic cooking expansive menu friendly service and generous portions ensure they do not go hungry seems very popular so that the booking is advisable at peak times
Unplanned visit during a trip to Carlisle, discovered through Google maps. Nice food, great staff in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Good value for the food we had. We managed to resist Dessert, but we saw what was served at another table, maybe it was a mistake!! Next time We would return and recommend.

What a great place to meet and eat. This cozy place has the most amazing food and service. The cook seasons to perfection and the sauces bring the pasta and the chicken in harmony. You have to try what he does with mushrooms.
Loves this place, lovely food... Quick service and friendly waitresses.... Good choice from the menu and very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend a visit.
