The coffee at this restaurant is delightful and reasonably priced. It's great that they are dog friendly. Shiela provided exceptional service and was very helpful.

Cornerstone is a community cafe owned and operated by St. James Church. The cafe is staffed primarily by volunteers from the church and local community. They offer a variety of affordable hot and cold drinks, with free refills on hot drinks and takeaway options available. In addition, they provide pre-paid coffee services for those in need. While the cafe does not serve food (aside from some biscuits), customers are welcome to bring their own sandwiches. Cornerstone also sells second-hand books, vinyls, CDs, DVDs, and other items. Next to the cafe is the St. James Op Shop, a charity store with a diverse selection of items for sale. Meeting rooms can be rented at Cornerstone, and various community groups regularly gather there for activities such as art groups, financial advice projects, and a work club. It is a welcoming space where people can come together to relax, socialize, or simply enjoy the surroundings. Free wifi is also available for customers.

This cafe serves only drinks and biscuits, but you can bring your own food in (there is a good bakers next door) and they will give you a plate and cutlery for it. Great cup of coffee in a relaxed atmosphere, toys for small children to play with and an excellent selection of cheap second hand books to browse through. Service is friendly and welcoming, seating comfortable and well spaced, and the building is light and good for watching the busy street outside while you relax.

Had a relaxing coffee here during the relentless rain. When in Denton Holme would recommend a visit. Great and friendly.
