I've enjoyed my dining experiences at Albee's. It's not as busy as it used to be. So the wait isn't as long. Food is good as expected. I just find that that use too much oil now. Presentation is nice and serving sizes are generous. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
What Gregory Huel doesn't like about Albee's Secret Recipe:
We've been regular patrons of this restaurant for over three years, and while the food has consistently been good, the staff has always been incredibly rude. On our latest visit, they seemed even more unfriendly when we expressed our disappointment. We arrived at 8:25 PM, well before their closing time of 9 PM, which I confirmed on my phone. However, the prices have skyrocketed—what used to be a $17 dish is now $22.... View all feedback.
Great food and customer service. Thanks.Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
The meals are small, but the only few are chosen. The very positive Malaysian winds are also high. Rendang Beef truth is superbases, and it is certain that a rotationi will be assigned. The only disadvantage is a long time, but it is true that it is time. There will be time for meals once again.
CONS: messed up their wait list by seating someone who just arrived when others waited 30mins before us waited 50 mins to be seated after arrival zero customer service as waitress was rude and yelled at customers who came in at 8:30pm (not even closing time) telling them not to come in and sit down waited 1hr for our food even after asking how long the food will take, noone gave a proper answer our roti that arrived at the 30min mark were stale and cold, same with our fried rice and beef randang which was luke warm Chicken curry finally arrived 1hr later that didnt even taste anything like chicken curry. Lacked flavor and tasted more like laksa based soup table we sat at was too small to hold all our dishes ran out of spoons at one point very stressful atmospherePROS:
Nice Malaysia dishes, Hainan chicken is a must try with some of its signature dishes. Food portion is too big, I would prefer a smaller portion with little lower price.
The fish head noodle soup is superb!!! I used to go to the Campsie store and I missed this noodle soup so much since I relocated. Luckily found a store in Carlingford which isn’t far from my current place. Food are of the same quality and the portion is even a bit more. Going forward, will be a regular customer of this store :D
