Le Manoir Belle Plage - Carleton

Read review of mine on the Hotel. Perfect food, service and chef. Breakfast, lunch and evening meal all excellent. Check that open before you visit as currently not 7 days a week for dinner.

We didn't stay at this hotel, but had breakfast here on our last day so that we could be with the relatives we had visited. We remembered the last time we were here, 3 years ago, and how good the food is, and again, it was wonderful! I got the special with lots of fresh fruit, it was wonderful. Our waitress, Patricia, took great care of the 6 of us, looking forward to when we can return.

All good. We were there for a hockey tournament and they opened up for us and put on great buffet meals

After checking out menus and prices of a variety of restaurants in town we decided to eat in the hotel we were staying at, which is quite nice by the way. To say the service was slow is to give turtles a bad name. It took over 45 minutes from ordering until the food arrived, and at no time did the wait staff come by to top up our drinks. A basket of bread arrived 30 seconds before our main meals. The food itself was quite good. I suspect that their season hadn't really started and that perhaps as a result their might not have been a fully staffed or prepped kitchen.

I travel the country for the bulk of the year, every year, and I love seeking out craft cocktail bars.
