Description
Le Heron is a charming diner-style restaurant with a prime location on the Bay of Chaleur. The Burger Poutine was a hit, but the seafood left something to be desired for some guests. The atmosphere and service were generally positive, with a lovely view of the water. Guests also enjoyed the variety of menu options, such as lobster club sandwiches and traditional breakfast fare. The Tortellini Cardinal received high praise for being the best pasta ever eaten. Overall, Le Heron offers good home cooking at reasonable prices, making it a worthwhile stop on a trip through the Gaspésie region.

I visited a fantastic restaurant with a stunning view! I ordered eggs Benedict and plain pancakes.
This is the best pasta I have ever tried. I highly recommend the Tortellini Cardinal - it is mind-blowing. The service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth it. You must try the pasta here.
Quick service, classic diner breakfast! The buffet was reasonable with lots of choices, and the breakfast poutine was inspired (lot of onion in it though)
Our motel didn't serve breakfast, so we went to Le Heron. The breakfast menu is extensive, but the preparation is not even. The service was good as the coffee. Eggs are very firm inside, regardless of how they were ordered. Stirred eggs show white and yellow strips and are difficult in texture. Our server told us that the restaurant was sold and closed for the season this weekend. The new owners plan to make many changes. If you need breakfast after this week, this is NOT the place.
