What Skyla Grant doesn't like about Ginger Cafe:
This is an interesting place, sometimes I just feel like that atmosphere. They have every type of cappuccino, latte, homemade desserts, the food though interesting ...it's very very expensive. I feel like I paid almost $20 just for two salad wraps and peanut sauce. The way the food, so just be prepared that you're going to pay about four times what you thought you're gonna pay. Ginger cafe is the perfect spot for lunch, afternoon tea or just to drop in for a little r&r.Cosy, comfortable space run by efficient, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great soups, (especially the mushroom) both hot and cold entrees and freshly made pasta. From lattes to probiotic laden drinks and shakes, all are delicious. And as a bonus, the best yoga studio right next door!Do not come to Carleton Place without stopping by.
Beautiful little vegetarian buffet style restaurant, lovely sitting room, good selection but would suggest adding a salad selection (with lettuce) as not everyone likes coleslaw. Aside from that, great place, well recommended!
I had a delicious salad lunch. I regret not trying the cold roll, but the cookie and granola bar were a nice snack for the ride back to Stittsville. I would definitely come back again.
I have been to many vegetarian restaurants over the years, and this one offers very delicious food. However, the prices are higher than what I would typically spend as a regular customer (even though I would love to, since it is close to my workplace). Vegetarian food is generally less expensive to provide, but that is not the case here. It seems like the restaurant is cashing in on the trendy yoga lifestyle, and it is the only place within a 50 km radius that offers more diverse vegetarian options beyond just removing the meat. Is it worth a visit? Yes. One should try it for themselves to determine if it is worth the price.
Good food, good atmosphere, only flaws, prices too high and food warm, not hot enough, in my opinion.
