Contribute FeedbackLocated in Carleton Place, this cozy bistro offers a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. While some reviewers found the portions small and prices high, the homemade desserts were a standout. The menu features options like crepes, burritos, and bagels with different fillings. Visitors also praised the gluten-free selections and the wide array of coffee choices. Some diners noted slow service during busy times, but all agreed that the food was worth the wait. With a charming atmosphere and delicious offerings, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.
I ordered an icy vanilla latte with almond milk and it was soooo good!!
I'm here several times and every time was great. Service and staff are very friendly and fast. The atmosphere from inside is very European and picturesque, it is very a small town cozy cafe with small seating. They also have a terrace outside to enjoy the fresh air. There is a wide selection of drinks and a good selection of dishes, considering how small the café is. The dishes and drinks are something on the pricier side, but it is a local business and it is understandable and the quality is too good to complain. Alcohol is served here as well as baked goods, home dishes and other local products such as spices and snacks. Recommend the crepes, cream of mushroom soup and potatoes. I love coming here and want to come back : Accessibility: It's not wheelchair-friendly. There are stairways to carry the facility and it is very small inside.
I was here for breakfast. I ordered the southwest breakfast Burrito and Granola with yogurt and fruit. I'll tell you it was delicious. If you're in the area, please give them a try. You'll be happy you did it. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Ambiance: 5 Recommended meals: Breakfast Burrito
We stopped by for a coffee, but we're enticed by the menu to have brunch. We were not disappointed. I had a breakfast wrap (scrambled eggs, loaded with cheese and bacon) and a (generous) fruit bowl with a large Americana coffee for under $20. Service: Dine in
We live in Ottawa but often take the scenic drive to Carleton Place to dine at this lovely bistro. Seating is tight but the food is amazing! We usually have the breakfast special but the whole menu is appealing! They have an outdoor patio in the summer and you can park very close by on the street. Highly recommended!
