Delicious! Make sure you take a friend who doesn't mind sharing, so you can taste their meals too. Mussels were plump and perfectly cooked. As were the scallops and the bisque was divine. The food here was very nice but quite expensive. I consider $40 and more excessive for a suburban restaurant. Had it been cheaper I would have gladly returned. However, the deal breaker for me was the charge of $6 pp for corkage. All I got...for that was a cheap glass on the table. I opened the wine, I poured the wine and no ice bucket was needed. I started with the escargot for my appetizer, which was delicious. For my main course, I ordered the twice roasted duck. It was a bit dry and tough, but the jus was tasty. The portion size was generous. For dessert, I had the chocolate tart. It came with pastry, raspberry coulis, and ice cream, but I requested no ice cream as I prefer less sweetness. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. Considering the restaurant's presentation and prices, we expected more attention to detail, such as wine pouring and checking in on our meals. The restaurant was at 3/4 capacity, so there was no excuse for the lack of attentiveness. Despite the minor issues with service, I would still consider coming back for a casual dining experience.
The twice-baked souffle was another indulgent dish that was perfectly executed. The mussels, while a lighter starter, were still tasty. The classic steak was cooked perfectly with a generous amount of jus, and the pork was tender and paired well with a lightly sweet sauce. However, the highlight of the meal for me was the seafood dish of the day. It was sweet, succulent, and the creamy sauce made it even more decadent and addictive. The side of fresh green beans and crispy potatoes were good accompaniments to the meal. For dessert, the chocolate tart was surprisingly light with a buttery, thin crust. The creme brulee was also fantastic - not overly sweet or eggy, with the perfect crackling sugar on top. Paired with a strong coffee or a chocolatey hot chocolate, it made for a satisfying and indulgent evening.

A nice local French restaurant. Small menu but every item on the menu is cooked to perfection. Great food great staff. Highly recommended
