New favourite brunch spot! Nestled along Whites Hill village in Camp Hill, is this gem of a place. Really enjoyed the ease of parking, casual Sunday atmosphere and friendly service. Ordered the "CME" - poached egg, 2 pieces of ciabatta, mushrooms, cherry tomato and goats cheese (I added an additional hash brown). Very tasty, would definitely go back! View all feedback.
What Loyce Witting doesn't like about The Fig Tree Deli:
Revisited this cafe after nine months of my last review. I have erased those records for the previous management. In fact, this cafe kept its consistency in terms of food and service. When I walked in around I was greeted by the friendly staff. I ordered a flat white and a croissant with ham and cheese.Coffee of Toby Estate really good enough to kick-start my day. Although the croissant texture was not the type that I... View all feedback.
Been here a few times now. Coffee is generallly quite good. Food has been good everytime. Waiters are nice and greet you with a smile. Plenty of room for small or large groups. We easily sat 10 people.

Lovely lunch from the deli. Meals were fresh, simple and tasty. Basic menu for lunch but just enough options. Quick service and great coffee.
This is probably the best place to have breakfast in this shopping village. I was disappointed with my coffee, but I have to be honest I am not a Merlo fan. In many cases I will avoid a cafe, if I see the Merlo sign, but having said that my cappuccino was acceptable. Counter balancing this was the meal, which was generous and very tasty. I had the bacon and egg panini with aioli. This was great for the price. My friend had a Big Fig, which is the super size breakfast with the lot. They are not kidding about a big breakfast, it is YUUUGE!! This cafe has a wonderful ambiance and is a very pleasant place to relax and read a magazine. If you are younger, you could quite happily sit here for hours Facebooking and texting, without having to engage anyone at the table in conversation. Bliss! Great spot. I say, give it a go. I'll have a cold drink or a hot chocolate there next time. Who knows, you may be a Merlo fan and will love the coffee, like my house mate did.
Next to the Has Bean Expresso located this Deli café. The first thing that attracts my attention is the Merlo coffee that they serve. Dropped in one morning 5 minutes prior to its normal trading time, I was told to wait for another five minutes. When the clock just struck the right moment, there were already peoples rushed in to place order. Eventually, I ordered my coffee and croissant with jam and butter then took a seat at the alfresco dining area. It did not take long to have the ordered ready and they did not let me down on the Merlo coffee. Croissant was not bad with the expected airy and flaky layers....It made my day!
